Brenna Porter, a sophomore track and field athlete at Brigham Young University, took this mantra to heart after a serious leg injury in the middle of the NCAA West Regionals. She tripped over the first hurdle, fell on her head and, unbeknownst to her, tore a seven-inch gash in her leg. She rose to her feet, and pressed on to the finish."
