Yes, there is a procedue to permanently remove your ingrown toenail (onychocryptosis).

The procedure is called a Matrixectomy, it is a safe and effective way to permanently stop an ingrown toenail from coming back. In most cases only a slight portion of  the nail has to be removed. Consult with your podiatrist to find out what treatment option is right for you.
